Applies to: Scarlett 3rd, Scarlett 2nd Gen (6i6, 18i8 & 18i20) and all Clarett interfaces. If you are not able to see your Focusrite interface in Focusrite Control, you may see one of two error messages: No Hardware Connected. No Hardware Detected.
This was an absolute nightmare to fix, the issue is FocusControl not working with the latest version of Windows 10, the solution is to fully uninstall everything, and download the DRIVER ONLY
-Verify your scarlett solo is set to 48000 sample rate and 48 buffer size -Edit the RS_ASIO.ini file you downloaded, put semicolons in front of the ; [Asio.Input.0] section, and remove the semicolons in front of the [Asio.Input.1] section (my file is inserted below for reference. Verify BufferSizeMode=custom Verify CustomBufferSize=48
It could be possible something may be malfunctioning. Try contacting customer support tomorrow. It also could just be the USB wire itself going bad which you could order online. Try reinstalling drivers too. Uninstall everything for focusrite. Go to device manager and look for focusrite stuff too uninstall it from there then reboot.
